We are confident that you will love your dusk products as much as we do. However if for any reason you need to return or refund them please read the following Policy (the ‘Terms’) below prior to contacting us. Terms used in this Policy have the meaning given to them at the end of the Policy in the defined terms section.

Returns & Refund Policy

What is the dusk refund policy?

If you change your mind you may return your item In Store or Online. 

Our standard return period is 30 days from date of purchase. As an active dusk Rewards Members your return period is extended by an additional 30 days allowing dusk Rewards Members 60 days to return item(s).

Standard Terms and conditions:

  • items must be returned in new condition;
  • proof of purchase is required;
  • change of mind return postage cost will be deducted from the amount refunded;
  • online returns must include an RMA number provided by our customer service team
  • refunds need to be applied to the same payment method used for the original purchase of the item(s) being returned;
  • refunds for Online orders processed In Store may take up to 1 business day for the payment to be processed;
  • In Store & Online purchases can be exchanged or refunded for free In Store;
  • Online orders cannot be exchanged online or through our Customer Service team;
  • In Store purchases cannot be returned or exchanged Online;
  • Gift Cards, eGift Cards and Memberships cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Dangerous goods items are unable to be returned online, these products need to be returned to a dusk store (e.g. lighters and fluid)

dusk Rewards Member terms and conditions:

  • items must be returned in new condition;
  • proof of purchase is required;
  • dusk will cover the cost of return shipping for change of mind purchases up to 60 days from date of sale;
  • online returns must include an RMA number provided by our customer service team
  • to qualify for the 60 day free return period, you must have been a paid active dusk Rewards Member at time of the original purchase and remain a member at the time the refund/return is requested;
  • refunds need to be applied to the same payment method used for the original purchase of the item(s) being returned;
  • refunds for Online orders processed In Store may take up to 1 business day for the payment to be processed;
  • In Store & Online purchases can be exchanged or refunded for free In Store;
  • Online orders cannot be exchanged online or through our Customer Service team;
  • In Store purchases cannot be returned or exchanged Online;
  • Gift Cards, eGift Cards and Memberships cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Dangerous goods items are unable to be returned online, these products need to be returned to a dusk store (e.g. lighters and fluid)

Customer Service will require photos of any item(s) that arrive in less than perfect condition.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality.

How long do I have to return or exchange a purchase?

  • Our standard return period is 30 days from date of purchase.
  • For active dusk Rewards Members our return period is 60 days free return from the date of purchase

How can I return an Online order?

  • Please contact Customer Service via email and provide the following information:
    • Online order number;
    • Full name;
    • Email address used for the order;
    • Photos of the item(s) if they arrived in less than perfect condition;
  • Customer Service will usually respond within 1 business day and advise next steps.
  • Please refer to the Returns & Refund Policy above for full terms and conditions.

Can I exchange an Online order?

  • You are welcome to exchange an Online order In Store with proof of purchase, however, Online orders can only be refunded.
  • Please refer to the Returns & Refund Policy above for full terms and conditions.

Can I return or exchange an In Store purchase Online?

  • No. In Store purchases must be returned In Store.

Warranty Periods

What is the standard warranty period on non-electrical item(s)?

  • Any dusk non-electrical product that is faulty or not of acceptable quality may be entitled to an exchange or refund under Consumer Law.
  • Please Note: These consumer guarantees do not apply where the item was damaged due to abnormal use or misuse.
  • Please refer to our Returns & Refund Policy above.

What is the warranty period on electrical item(s)?

  • All electrical items (example: MoodMist® Diffusers, Aromatherapy and Oil Burners) come with a 1-year warranty from date of purchase.
  • Any dusk electrical (MoodMist® Diffusers, Aromatherapy Diffusers and Oil Burners) product that is faulty or not of acceptable quality may be entitled to an exchange or refund under Consumer Law.
  • Please Note: These consumer guarantees do not apply where the item was damaged due to abnormal use or misuse.
